About the Job
Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for an Army and Battlefields Painter to join our Warhammer TV team in Nottingham. If you’re familiar with the Warhammer painting style and can paint armies quickly while maintaining outstanding quality, then this could be the perfect role for you!
Passionate about Warhammer and a skilled miniatures painter, we’ll look to you to thoroughly understand the Warhammer IP and use your creative judgement of what makes fantastically painted miniatures, scenery and terrain, and be able to communicate that effectively through your work.
You’ll collaborate closely with the wider Customer Engagement team and our gaming presenters to paint armies that will be used in pre-recorded and live battles on Warhammer TV. You’ll make sure our armies include the right models to showcase the Warhammer hobby in the best light, whether that’s painting nine Leman Russ Executioners or 100 Clanrats for an incredible last stand! Strong communication skills and time management are critical in this role as we’ll look to keep staff informed of the status of each project at key times. You’ll need to be effective with your time to ensure work is delivered on time and to the agreed quality level.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
