We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Arrhythmia Specialist Nurse to join our Cardiology Team in delivering an arrhythmia service across outpatient clinics and the acute hospital setting.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced cardiovascular nurse to lead and develop specialist arrhythmia services, providing expert assessment, management, education, and support for patients with cardiac rhythm disorders.
This post is Fixed Term/Secondment for 12 months due to the needs of the service.

Main duties of the job
- Provide specialist nursing care for patients with arrhythmias across outpatient and emergency care settings.
- Deliver and coordinate arrhythmia clinics, including assessment, diagnosis support, treatment planning and follow-up.
- Act as a specialist resource for patients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Support acute admissions and timely review of patients presenting with arrhythmia-related conditions.
- Facilitate care pathways for cardioversion.
- Lead patient education initiatives promoting self-management and treatment adherence.
- Contribute to service development, audit, quality improvement, education and research activities.

This is a part time 24 hours secondment role for 12 months.
Please ensure you have asked your manager, before applying for this role.
You will be based in Ysbyty Gwynedd, but will be required to attend outpatient clinics in Llandudno, as your role progresses.

Qualifications
Essential Criteria
- NMC Registered Nurse
- Post Registration qualification in relevant cardiac related subject
- Advanced Life Support provider
- Degree in relevant clinical/professional subject
Desirable criteria
- Good Clinical Practice certificate
- British Heart Rhythm Society accreditation
Experience
Essential criteria
- Extensive post registration experience including significant time working in cardiac care at Band 6
- Implementation of innovations in practice.
- Service development and management
- Experience of undertaking audit and research
Desirable criteria
- Involvement with professional networks
Skills

- Evidence of good organisational & analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
