About The Role
The Arrival Support Assistant position in central Liverpool involves greeting new students and managing luggage during the September move-in period. Arrival Support Assistant
- Location: Central Liverpool
- Pay Rate: £13.58 per hour
- Hours of Work: Saturday and Sunday only. Varied shifts depending on location – examples include 08:00–16:00, 09:00–17:00, 10:00–18:00, 11:00–19:00, and 12:00–20:00.
- Contract Duration: Temporary, starting 5th – 20th September
Purpose of the Role
As an Arrival Support Assistant, you’ll be the friendly face that greets students, helps with luggage, provides parking guidance, and acts as a visible point of support throughout the check-in process. You’ll also work closely with reception, maintenance, and student support teams to ensure everything runs seamlessly.

- Support with carrying luggage to rooms as required.
- Provide assistance with parking duties when needed.
- Act as a visible and approachable point of contact during move-in.

- Confident working in a fast-paced environment with high volumes of arrivals.
- Strong communication skills and good local knowledge.
- Able to signpost students to relevant support services when required.
