Greenhous Upper Heyford
Greenhous Upper Heyford is looking for a thorough, organised and detail-focused Arrivals Inspector to join our team.
As an Arrivals Inspector, you will play an important role in ensuring vehicles arriving on site are inspected and recorded accurately. You will be responsible for checking vehicles for any damage, defects or discrepancies on arrival, completing relevant documentation and ensuring any issues are identified and reported promptly.

Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
Hours: 8.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday with 30 minutes for lunch (unpaid), i.e. 42.5 hours per week.
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect vehicles on arrival to ensure their condition is accurately recorded.
- Carry out thorough visual checks for damage, defects and discrepancies.
- Record vehicle condition accurately using the relevant systems and documentation.
- Take photographs of vehicles and any damage identified as required.
- Report any damage, defects or issues promptly to the relevant team members.
- Ensure all vehicle details and inspection records are accurate and up to date.
- Liaise with transport, logistics, preparation and other teams regarding vehicle arrivals.
- Ensure vehicles are correctly identified and processed on arrival.
- Assist with maintaining accurate stock records and vehicle movements.
- Follow company procedures and health and safety requirements at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Carry out any other duties reasonably required to support the business.

Ideally, we are looking for:
- Previous experience in a vehicle inspection, logistics, automotive or similar role would be advantageous.
- A good knowledge and interest in vehicles.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify damage or defects.
- Good organisational and record-keeping skills.
- Confident using IT systems and able to accurately input information.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different teams.
- The ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
- A proactive and reliable approach to work.
- A full UK driving licence would be advantageous.
