PURPOSE
We are seeking an exceptional Art Direction Lead, Beauty to define and elevate the creative vision of our Beauty category. Working closely with the VP Brand Creative and senior creative leadership team, you will help shape how Burberry Beauty is expressed across campaigns, content and customer experiences globally.
This is a unique opportunity to lead world-class creative work at the intersection of luxury beauty, fashion, culture and innovation. You will bring strategic vision, creative excellence and inspirational leadership, developing compelling narratives and distinctive visual worlds that strengthen brand desirability and drive business growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive the Creative Vision
- Lead the development and evolution of Burberry Beauty's creative identity.
- Define and champion visual storytelling, creative standards and brand expression across all touchpoints.
- Push creative boundaries through innovative thinking, emerging technologies and fresh approaches to luxury beauty communications.
- Ensure all creative output feels distinctive, culturally relevant and true to Burberry's luxury positioning.

Lead Campaign Development
- Develop and oversee creative concepts from initial brief through to final delivery.
- Create compelling narratives, visual worlds and integrated campaign ideas across product launches, editorial content and brand campaigns.
- Partner with wider creative teams to create impactful work across digital, social, retail and experiential channels.
- Confidently present and influence senior stakeholders, building alignment around creative vision.
Deliver Creative Excellence
- Lead still-life and moving-image productions, directing photographers, filmmakers, stylists, talent and production partners.
- Oversee retouching, editing, grading and motion design to ensure exceptional quality throughout the creative process.
- Maintain rigorous attention to detail and consistency across global markets and platforms.
- Explore new creative formats, technologies and production innovations to enhance storytelling and audience engagement.
Collaborate Across the Business
- Build strong partnerships with Beauty Marketing, Media, Licensing, Commercial and Project Management teams.
- Balance creative ambition with commercial objectives and business priorities.
- Support the effective localisation and implementation of creative assets across global and regional markets.

Lead and Inspire Talent
- Mentor and develop a team of Art Directors and Junior Art Directors.
- Create an environment that encourages creativity, collaboration and high performance.
- Provide clear direction, coaching and development opportunities.
- Act as a role model for creative leadership within the wider organisation.
PERSON PROFILE
- Significant experience leading creative campaigns within luxury beauty, fashion or premium lifestyle brands.
- Proven success operating at Senior Art Director or equivalent leadership level.
- An outstanding portfolio showcasing strategic thinking, creative leadership and exceptional craft.
- Deep understanding of beauty culture, luxury consumers and the evolving creative landscape.
- Experience shaping brand narratives and visual identities.
- Strong track record directing high-profile photography and moving-image productions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills, including influencing senior leaders.
- Strong understanding of digital, social, retail and experiential content ecosystems.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and creative production workflows.
- Experience leading, mentoring and developing creative talent.
- A passion for innovation, cultural relevance and creative excellence.
