We’re Pink Squid, a UK-based fast-growing creative agency building people-powered brands. We do award-winning work for global clients, with our HQ in London, and a footprint in the US.
As An AD
You will have a passion for visual storytelling and a keen eye for design, who is eager to learn and grow within the employer branding space. Working under the guidance of our Head of Creative and Creative Directors, you will help bring our clients' employer brands to life through engaging visual content.
You’ll be working on global scale clients through a range of projects from various industries including but not limited to: healthcare, education, travel, FMCG, tech, finance and more.
Requirements
- A degree in Creative Advertising, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Relevant professional experience in an art direction role, preferably within an agency environment. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are also encouraged to apply.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your creative abilities, conceptual thinking, and design skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with digital design tools.
- A basic understanding of branding and marketing principles, with a desire to specialise in employer branding.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, with a willingness to take on feedback and learn from others.

Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Assist in the development and execution of creative concepts for a variety of media, including digital, print, and social media campaigns.
- Work closely with the copy team to ensure visual and textual content aligns seamlessly, telling compelling brand stories.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and creative concepting, contributing innovative ideas that push creative boundaries.
- Help create and maintain visual guidelines for client brands, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
- Manage multiple projects from concept to completion, adhering to deadlines and client specifications.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in design, advertising, and employer branding to inform and inspire creative outputs.
- Prepare presentations and mock-ups for internal reviews and client pitches.
