About the Role
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Conceptual Designer or Art Director to join an award-winning London creative agency. Partnering with a talented copywriter, you’ll develop strong ideas and beautifully crafted design across diverse campaigns and channels. The work will focus primarily on charity clients, with occasional commercial projects.
We’re Looking for Someone with:
- A strong multi-skilled portfolio showing conceptual thinking and high-quality design across print and digital.
- Experience developing creative across everything from big brand campaigns to web banners, DRTV, direct mail, and print.
- Excellent professional design skills in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
- A passion for great causes and fundraising. Prior charity/fundraising experience is highly desirable.
- Experience designing direct mail and a thorough knowledge of print.
- The ability to work collaboratively with a permanent copywriter partner.
- The ability to take a project from concept scams through to final design.
- Motion graphics / Adobe After Effects experience is desirable but non-essential.

Main Areas of Responsibility:
- Interpreting agency and client briefs.
- Working with a copywriter partner and Creative Directors to originate and develop powerful creative ideas that meet agency and client expectations.
- Producing high-quality design across print and digital, taking work from initial concepts and scams through to final design before the artwork stage.
- Working constructively with account handling, planning, production, and studio.
- Briefing, directing, and overseeing outside suppliers where required, including photographers, motion graphics artists, and freelance creative resource.
- Assisting with creative presentations and presenting work for new business and existing clients.
- Working efficiently within the Arthur workflow process to meet deadlines.

Essential Experience:
- Able to design to a high standard using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Two or more years of conceptual design experience working in a creative agency.
- Experience designing direct mail and print campaigns.
