About The Job
Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for an Art Manager to lead our Warhammer Age of Sigmar illustration team, helping a talented group of artists produce outstanding artwork for the books and games our hobbyists love.
- You will be highly organised, passionate about Age of Sigmar and committed to helping other people do their best work.
- You will set clear expectations for the team, give honest and constructive feedback and provide art direction where needed.
- You will set high standards for quality and delivery, while creating an environment where talented illustrators can learn, improve and produce work they are proud of.
You will enjoy working with others and getting stuck in to solve problems. Working closely with Product Developers and Planners, you will plan the team’s workload, make good decisions about where to focus its time and make sure projects are delivered to the quality we expect and when we need them. You will also work closely with Marketing, Licensing and teams across Games Workshop, listening to different points of view and making clear decisions when needed.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
