What You'll Do
As Art Manager, you will lead the art team within a PlayDigital studio in Manchester, ensuring the delivery of high-quality visual content aligned with overall art direction. You will manage people, processes, and output to maintain consistency and excellence in visual execution.
- Lead and manage a team of artists across different disciplines (UI, Tech, illustration, etc.)
- Ensure delivery of high-quality visual assets aligned with defined art direction
- Collaborate with math design, animation, audio, engineering, and production to deliver engaging player experiences
- Plan and prioritize art tasks in line with project goals, timelines, and budgets
- Mentor and develop team members while maintaining strong team performance
- Ensure alignment with global art standards, tools, and pipelines
- Oversee the delivery of first-in-class digital marketing packs to agreed specifications for Studio’s developed content
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in gaming or digital art roles, with leadership experience
- Experience in iGaming and understanding of visual trends in the market
- Strong artistic judgment and understanding of UI/UX and game presentation
- Proven ability to lead creative teams and deliver high-quality assets
- Comfortable using AI-assisted tools, with practical experience and knowledge of AI-powered collaborative visual workspaces.
- Strong communication and organizational skills
