About Montana Jenkins
Montana Jenkins is a specialist platform-management business supporting galleries and art dealers with their online presence. We create, improve and manage artwork listings across platforms including Artsy, Artnet, 1stDibs and gallery websites.
We are looking for someone with a genuine understanding of both art and business to help grow the company and gradually assume responsibility for client relationships and day-to-day operations.
The opportunity
This is an entrepreneurial position for someone who wants meaningful responsibility and the opportunity to help build a growing art-market business.
This is initially a flexible, remote and self-employed commission-based position. There is no fixed salary or guaranteed number of hours at the beginning. Earnings are uncapped and will be based on an agreed percentage of revenue actually received from the clients you introduce, with additional earning opportunities for accounts you personally manage.
The intention is for the position to develop into a permanent paid management role as the company and client base grow.
What you will do
- Research and identify suitable galleries, dealers and art businesses.
- Approach prospective clients and explain how Montana Jenkins can improve and manage their presence across online platforms.
- Build lasting relationships with galleries and understand their individual requirements.
- Help onboard new clients and gradually take responsibility for managing selected accounts.
- Coordinate with our international production team and check that work meets the required standard.
- Contribute ideas for improving our services, processes and overall growth strategy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
