Art Technician
Berkhamsted School are seeking a proactive and organised Art Technician to support the smooth running of our thriving Art and Design Department across two campuses.
Part of this varied role involves:
- Preparing materials for lessons
- Maintaining specialist equipment and studios
- Supporting ceramics and kiln operations
- Managing stock levels
- Assisting with exhibitions and displays

You will work closely with teaching staff to ensure an inspiring and well-resourced learning environment for our pupils.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- A keen interest in Art and Design
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- The flexibility to manage a wide range of tasks
Previous experience in a school or educational setting is desirable.
Hours of Work

- 35 hours per week, term-time only.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday
- 8:30am to 4:30pm (including a one-hour unpaid lunch break)
Tuesday and Thursday
- 9:30am to 5:30pm (including a one-hour unpaid lunch break)
