About us
GrowthPoint PR is a premium PR agency. We place clients in publications like Forbes, Entrepreneur, Yahoo, Inc., Time, Men's Health and USA Today, and run bespoke press tours across the UK, US and Australia, including podcast appearances (Dropping Bombs with Brad Lea) and TV slots (KTNV). We also shoot photography for selected UK clients, including the recent McDonald's x Xbox launch event in London, and we help clients establish their Google Knowledge Panels.
The role
We're building a bench of freelance writers to draft articles for placement in top-tier publications. The work is ad hoc, but the writers who impress us hear from us again and again, and the volume of the briefs grow as we do.
You'll write editorially strong pieces on business, entrepreneurship, leadership, technology, finance and lifestyle. Every article starts from a brief and client input, and it needs to read like something a senior editor would want to run, not a press release in disguise.

What you'll do
- Turn a client brief, interview notes or a rough idea into a publication-ready article
- Match the tone, structure and contributor guidelines of our target publications
- Research thoroughly and fact-check every claim and statistic against the brief
- Deliver clean, original copy on deadline, with light revisions after editor and client feedback
- Keep client information confidential
What you'll need
- Proven experience writing for well-known publications or high-quality online media. Please share published examples
- A clear, engaging voice and a strong command of grammar, structure and headlines
- A working understanding of editorial standards: originality, sourcing, and knowing where promotion crosses the line
- Ability to hit tight deadlines and take feedback without friction
- Reliable, professional communication

Nice to have: a background in journalism, PR or content marketing, ghostwriting experience for founders or executives, and familiarity with publication contributor guidelines.
Location
UK-based preferred. We'll also consider strong writers in the US, Canada and Australia.
How it works
- £50–£75 per article, depending on complexity and your experience
- Typically 5–15 articles per month, growing as we scale
- Briefs usually come in batches of 3–5, with a 2–4 day turnaround
- Paid on approval, within 3 days. We don't batch payments up to month-end
- Non-exclusive. Keep your own clients; we're not asking for your calendar
