AI Consultant (Freelance Contractor - Outside IR35)

Location: UK, start from home, travel to customer sites when needed

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, an innovative AI consultancy, who are looking for an experienced AI Consultant to join their growing team on a freelance, Outside IR35 basis.

This is a unique opportunity for a highly consultative professional who enjoys solving business problems, challenging thinking, and helping organisations embrace AI to transform the way they work.

This is not a Salesforce role. However, our client believes that experienced Salesforce Consultants, Solution Architects, and Business Analysts possess many of the consultative skills needed to transition successfully into AI consulting. Full training on the AI platform will be provided through an intensive bootcamp for the right candidates.

Initially, work will be on an ad-hoc contract basis, with the expectation that demand will increase over time, potentially leading to longer-term or permanent opportunities if desired.

The Role

As an AI Consultant, you will work directly with senior business stakeholders to understand their challenges, identify opportunities for AI adoption, and configure AI-driven solutions that deliver real business value.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
