AI Governance Consultant
Location: UK Wide | Hybrid
Salary: £65,000 - £105,000 + Bonus
We’re looking for an experienced AI Governance Consultant to join a growing Digital & Data team, helping organisations adopt AI and Generative AI safely, responsibly and at scale.
The Role
You’ll work with senior clients and multidisciplinary teams across AI, data, cyber security, risk and regulation to:
- Design and implement AI governance frameworks, policies, controls and operating models.
- Advise on AI regulations and standards including the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF and ISO/IEC 42001.
- Deliver AI risk assessments, model governance reviews and Responsible AI evaluations.
- Support governance across the AI lifecycle, including deployment, monitoring, explainability and human oversight.
- Advise clients on Generative AI/LLM risks, including privacy, security, bias, IP and data usage.
- Facilitate workshops and governance forums with senior stakeholders.

About You
You’ll have established consulting experience delivering projects in AI governance, Responsible AI, AI risk, model governance or emerging technology regulation.
You should have experience with:
- AI governance frameworks, policies and controls.
- AI regulations and standards such as EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF or ISO 42001.
- AI risk assessments and governance reviews.
- Generative AI and associated governance considerations.
- Working with senior stakeholders across business, legal, compliance, risk, IT, cyber and data teams.
Experience in Government, Life Sciences, Consumer & Manufacturing or other regulated sectors is desirable.

Relevant certifications such as IAPP AIGP, ISO 42001, CRISC, CISM or CISSP are advantageous.
