AI Consultant
London / Middlesex based - Flex hybrid role – Circa £525 per day, Outside IR35
Contract: Initial 3 month engagement, with potential for further deployments
Focus: Generative AI | Agentic AI | Business Transformation
We are looking for experienced Forward Deployed AI Consultants to join major enterprise AI transformation programmes.
This is not a traditional software engineering role. We are looking for people who can sit directly with business stakeholders, understand complex operational problems and identify where AI, automation and agentic solutions can deliver genuine business value.
You will work across the full journey from discovery and process analysis through to business case, solution design, prototyping and implementation.
What you'll be doing
- Work directly with business stakeholders to understand processes, challenges and opportunities.
- Lead discovery sessions and workshops to uncover potential AI use cases.
- Translate business problems into clear requirements, use cases and business cases.
- Identify and prioritise opportunities for AI and automation.
- Design and deliver AI agents, copilots, automations, Proof of Concepts and MVPs.
- Work with technologies including Google Gemini Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Vertex AI and Power Platform.
- Take solutions from initial idea through discovery, validation and implementation.
- Work alongside engineering, architecture, security and platform teams.
- Present solutions and recommendations to senior business and technical stakeholders.
- Support adoption of AI capabilities across enterprise teams.
- Develop reusable AI patterns, prompts, templates and best practices.

You will ideally have:
- Strong client-facing consulting, Business Analysis or transformation experience.
- Experience running discovery workshops and engaging senior stakeholders.
- A strong understanding of business processes and process improvement.
- Experience identifying and developing practical Generative AI / Agentic AI use cases.
- Exposure to Gemini, Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Vertex AI, Azure OpenAI, Power Platform or similar technologies.
- Experience with AI agents, copilots, chatbots or intelligent automation.
- Understanding of LLMs and prompt engineering.
- Enough technical knowledge to work effectively with APIs, integrations, scripting and technical delivery teams.
- The ability to operate independently in customer-facing environments.
