Role Description
The Artificial Intelligence Engineer will design, build, and optimize AI models that power Himalay.ai’s contextual understanding, compatibility intelligence, and conversational experiences. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Developing and training neural network models
- Implementing NLP pipelines
- Performing pattern recognition on large datasets

The role also involves:
- Collaborating with product and design teams to translate user needs into technical solutions
- Evaluating model performance
- Iterating on algorithms to improve accuracy and user experience
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater London.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, and scalable system design.
- Proficiency in Neural Networks and Pattern Recognition, with experience training and evaluating machine learning or deep learning models.
- Hands-on expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), including text processing, language models, and conversational AI frameworks.
- Experience with common AI/ML tools and languages (e.g., Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, cloud-based ML services).
- Ability to work with large, complex datasets and apply statistical and analytical methods to derive insights.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills, collaborative mindset, and interest in building technology that enhances human connection.
