AI Engineer

Employment Type: Contract

Primary Skill

  • Experience with Python and modern application development.
  • Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, and AI agents.

Key Responsibilities

AI-Powered SDLC Automation:

  • Build AI solutions across the software development lifecycle.
  • Convert vague business requirements into structured requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases, and test scenarios.
  • Improve engineering readiness using AI.

Requirements & Product Engineering Intelligence:

  • Build AI assistants that understand business problems and generate Jira/ADO ready work items.
  • Identify missing information, risks, and technical considerations.

Design-to-Code Automation:

  • Develop AI workflows using design artifacts such as Figma.
  • Analyse wireframes, generate frontend/backend code, and improve design-to-development consistency.

AI-Assisted Engineering:

  • Build AI coding assistants and GitHub integrations.
  • Enable code generation, code review assistance, peer review summaries, refactoring suggestions, and automated pull request creation.

Testing & Quality Engineering:

  • Build AI-powered testing workflows.
  • Generate unit tests, integration tests, regression tests, and UI automation using frameworks such as Playwright.
  • Improve defect prevention and test coverage.

AI-Driven DevOps and SRE:

  • Apply AI for log analysis, anomaly detection, incident correlation, root cause analysis, and operational recommendations.
  • Integrate AI into CI/CD and observability workflows.

Required Skills:

  • Strong software engineering background.
  • Experience with Python and modern application development.
  • Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, and AI agents.
  • Experience integrating AI with GitHub, Jira, CI/CD, developer tools, and cloud platforms.
  • Understanding of testing, DevOps, observability, and SRE practices.
