Iβm currently looking for an experienced GenAI / NLP Engineer to support a confidential AWS Professional Services engagement with a major UK regulated financial services organisation.
The project is focused on a live Generative AI Proof of Concept designed to automate the review and extraction of compliance information from complex AML / regulatory documentation.
This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who has built production-grade GenAI systems, rather than purely experimental or notebook-based solutions.

- Production GenAI / LLM pipeline design and implementation
- Strong RAG architecture experience, particularly document-heavy use cases
- NLP and document extraction from PDFs, scanned documents and regulatory filings
- Hands-on Amazon Bedrock experience β Claude or equivalent foundation models
- Prompt engineering, guardrails and LLM evaluation
- Experience working with regulated / financial services environments
- GenAI evaluation frameworks covering accuracy, precision, recall, confidence and hallucination detection
- Strong Python development skills
- LangChain / LlamaIndex
- AWS SDK / boto3
- Amazon Textract, PyPDF, Unstructured.io or similar
- CI/CD for ML / GenAI pipelines
- Multi-agent / tool-use architectures
- LangGraph, CrewAI, Bedrock AgentCore or similar

- Experience designing governed workflows with validation, routing and human-in-the-loop processes

Iβm in my final year doing Economics and I donβt know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer β it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donβt need a masters. Letβs look at the ones youβd be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
