π€ Industry: Artificial Intelligence | Enterprise Technology | SaaS | Software
Our client is an early-stage technology startup building an AI-powered enterprise platform designed to help large organizations dramatically improve efficiency through advanced Large Language Model (LLM) technology.
This is a rare Founding AI Software Engineer opportunity, reporting directly to the founder and playing a key role in shaping the company's architecture, product, engineering culture, and technical direction from the ground up.
π About the Role
As an Artificial Intelligence Engineer, you will combine full-stack software engineering with applied AI development to build the company's core platform.
You won't be maintaining a legacy codebase. You'll be building a new AI platform from the ground up, working across application architecture, LLM infrastructure, data, APIs, and cloud-native technologies.
You'll have significant ownership and influence over technical decisions as the company grows.

- Develop LLM pipelines, orchestration layers, and intelligent workflows.
- Work with modern foundation models and AI APIs.

- Experiment with emerging AI technologies and rapidly move successful concepts into production.
Full-Stack Development
- Build scalable applications using Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS.
- Develop backend services and APIs using Node.js/TypeScript.
- Build intuitive interfaces for AI-powered enterprise workflows.
- Collaborate directly with the founder on product and technical decisions.

Iβm in my final year doing Economics and I donβt know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer β it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donβt need a masters. Letβs look at the ones youβd be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
