AI Engineer - Outside IR35 - Hybrid
We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer to design, build and deploy multi-agent AI solutions. The work involves taking systems from design through to live deployment, in environments where robustness and security take priority over speed of delivery. This is a hands-on delivery role rather than a research or proof-of-concept position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build multi-agent systems using modern orchestration frameworks.
- Integrate large language models and vision-language models into operational workflows covering reasoning, search, summarisation and task automation.
- Deploy solutions across cloud, on-premises and disconnected/isolated environments.
- Build end-to-end pipelines covering data ingestion through to model inference.
- Implement monitoring for agent behaviour, model performance and failure conditions.
- Provide technical leadership on agentic AI approaches, supporting less experienced engineers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
