AI Developer

£60,000 – £75,000
Do you know your A* algorithm? Do you live and breath meshes and pathfinding? Does working at a genuine pioneer of their industry building technology used in household media favourites excite you?
Well, this is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced AI Programmer to work on sophisticated navigation systems used within complex 3D environments, while also having a genuine influence on the technical direction of the product.
The focus here is game AI and navigation rather than generative AI, so we're looking for someone with strong C++ experience and a background in developing AI or gameplay systems within games.
What you'll be doing
You'll take ownership of the development of AI navigation capabilities, getting involved across design, architecture, and implementation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
