Senior AI Software Engineer | Permanent | FULLY REMOTE WORKING | £120,000 | Annual Bonus and Full Company Benefits
This is not a standard full-stack or backend requirement. This is an opportunity to join an incredible team working on a genuine Greenfield, Anthropic-first initiative.
This Senior AI Software Engineer role will work on a FULLY REMOTE basis. The role will pay up to £120,000 as a starting basic and offer a very generous Annual Bonus Scheme + Contributory Company Pension and an extensive Company benefits package. Unfortunately, VISA SPONSORSHIP is not available with this role and candidates applying must be currently based living in the UK.
Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you'll build and ship AI-powered product experiences across the full stack, using modern AI-native development practices and tools such as Claude Code and the Anthropic Claude API. This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll write production code every day, partner closely with Product and Design, and play a key role in defining how AI is embedded safely, reliably, and thoughtfully across the Company’s platform.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
TECH: TypeScript/Node, built with Claude Code as the primary dev tool, and deliberately breaking from BAU/Evolve engineering patterns.
MUST HAVES:
- TypeScript/Node fundamentals — production-grade, not "worked with it once."
- Full stack: API layer through to React clients.
- Real Anthropic/Claude API experience — prompt construction, tool/function calling, structured output, streaming, MCP (Model Context Protocol).
- PostgreSQL — schema design, migrations, multi-tenant isolation. Azure-hosted Postgres specifically is a plus, not a requirement.
- Must be comfortable in Greenfield, no-playbook environments — self-directed, make judgment calls without an established pattern to copy.
