We're working with a large organisation that is investing heavily in AI, data and emerging technologies. They're looking for an AI Solutions Engineer to join a growing team focused on turning AI from an exciting possibility into practical solutions that make a real impact.

What you'll be doing

As an AI Solutions Engineer, you'll help build the next generation of AI-powered tools and applications used across a large and complex organisation.

This is a newly evolving capability, giving you the opportunity to help shape both the solutions being built and the direction of the team itself. You'll work on real business challenges, designing and developing practical AI applications that improve processes, unlock insights and create better experiences for users.

You'll build AI agents, LLM-powered tools and intelligent applications using technologies such as Python, Azure, Microsoft Fabric, APIs and modern web frameworks. From natural language interfaces through to enterprise-scale AI solutions, you'll be involved in creating products that people use every day.

You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand problems, design the right approach and deliver solutions that are scalable, robust and commercially valuable. Rather than focusing solely on coding, you'll think about architecture, integration, user experience and how solutions can evolve as business needs change.

What experience you'll need to apply

  • 2-3+ years of experience in an AI Engineering, AI Solutions Engineering or similar role
  • Experience with React in a commercial environment and exposure to TypeScript
  • Strong Python skills
  • Experience building applications, platforms or enterprise technology solutions
  • Understanding of solution architecture and systems integration
  • Experience developing or integrating APIs
  • Excellent SQL and data modelling knowledge
  • Experience working with AI technologies, LLMs, AI agents or RAG-based solutions
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric or similar modern data platforms
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to work through ambiguity
  • Comfortable communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work independently
