Role Description

This is a Part-time, Hybrid role based in London for an Artist Manager & Plugger at RBK London. The role involves managing relationships with artists and guiding them in their professional journey.

Responsibilities

  • Offering strategic career advice
  • Coordinating events or releases
  • Pitching music to industry stakeholders
  • Creating promotional opportunities
  • Building partnerships with media outlets
  • Leveraging networks to gain exposure for artists
  • Developing promotional strategies for their music

Requirements

  • Specialises in the urban, garage, R&B, pop, and hip hop genres
  • Basic understanding of disability awareness when working with music artists with disabilities and understanding their needs

Key Tasks

  • Networking and building relationships with radio stations (securing radio play)
  • Experience in Radio Promotion, relationships with radio broadcasters, and creating effective radio plugging strategies
  • Release Planning (Goal setting for the Releases & Scouting between CEO Employer & Employee)
  • Talent & A&R scouting, contacting Artists for potential signings and deals for artist development
  • Risk assessment
  • Organising the artist's schedule
  • Plugging live gigs and performances for artists
  • Strategising & managing artists' releases
  • Attending meetings with potential artists & management team when required

You will be a creative professional who is motivated and a self-starter, loyal, and able to work using your own initiative as well as being able to work part as a team.

Weekly £150 per week
