Use your arts and crafts teaching skills to inspire creativity and connection. Join WE RESTART to deliver welcoming community workshops in Brent, helping people facing isolation, displacement or hardship build skills and confidence.

What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a creative, patient and welcoming person with practical arts and crafts skills who enjoys sharing them with others. Clear communication, reliability and sensitivity to different backgrounds and abilities are essential. Teaching experience is required. You should be able to commit three hours a week.
What will you be doing?
WE RESTART is looking for creative and enthusiastic arts and crafts volunteers to help deliver free, inclusive community workshops in Brent and the City of London.
Our workshops bring people together through creativity, offering opportunities to learn, express themselves and develop friendships. We welcome volunteers who can share their artistic skills and adapt activities to different abilities, interests and levels of confidence.

Your key responsibilities will include
- Planning and leading engaging arts and crafts activities.
- Helping participants develop creative skills and confidence at their own pace.
- Adapting activities for people from diverse backgrounds, including those with limited English or little previous experience of art.
- Preparing materials and encouraging safe use of tools and resources.
- Creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable exploring ideas and taking part.
- Working with our coordinator and other volunteers to organise sessions and respond to participants’ needs.
We are looking for a commitment of three hours per week, with the location and schedule agreed together. This is an unpaid, ongoing role and does not involve line management of paid employees.
