Freuds

Freuds has been working in Culture and Film and TV for nearly 40 years, supporting artists, musicians, broadcasters and entertainment companies to tell their stories across a range of platforms. Our team of specialists work with corporate media clients and culture and arts institutions to help them meet their audience and to creatively tell their story with clarity.

From reputation management to growth strategies, repositioning to profile raising, cultural campaigns to live events; we use 360-degree communications paired with powerful storytelling and the latest technology, to ensure stories cut through the noise and drive action.

Associate Director, Arts, Culture & Corporate Film & TV

Do you want to be in the room where it happens? Are you a media junkie who consumes culture across TV, film, museums, music and the arts? A rare opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, culturally curious Associate Director to join our Corporate Media and Arts team, working with festivals, arts institutions, philanthropists, broadcasters, producers and entertainment companies.

This role is ideal for a rounded communications professional most likely with strong media contacts and a corporate communications leaning: someone who is proactive and can build relationships quickly, run accounts confidently and bring together public relations instinct, strong media judgement, strategic counsel, creativity and a genuine passion for culture.

The successful candidate will be kind and team focussed whilst comfortable moving between high-profile cultural moments and complex corporate briefs: launching major exhibitions, supporting cultural charities, working the room at TV and film festivals, advising senior clients, handling business and trade press, and responding calmly to sensitive reputational issues.

They will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team and bring the confidence to deliver proactive communications campaigns across corporate, consumer and earned media channels, while spotting opportunities in the news agenda and helping clients tell their stories with clarity and impact.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
