Warwick District Council are looking for a dynamic Arts Officer to join our Arts Service. With a passion for arts and culture, and experience in a similar role, you will provide a crucial link between the council and the vibrant local arts community.
You will be responsible for the administration of the council’s arts grant schemes, including monitoring, evaluation, advising the Arts Grants Steering Group and processing payments. The Arts Officer is a first point of contact for artists and creative organisations working in the district, providing information, professional guidance and signposting to alternative sources. The Arts Officer also collates a regular newsletter and organises networking events.

The successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the arts sector at a regional and national level, including sources of funding. They will have good administrative and financial management skills, with experience of administering grant programmes and monitoring budgets.
This is a part-time role at 22.2 hours per week. The post is part of the Collections and Engagement Team based at Leamington Spa Art Gallery and Museum in the Royal Pump Rooms.
