Juniper Trading Limited is a trade-only supplier specializing in stitched promotional items made from PU and real leather, operating from a 22,000 sq ft factory, office, and warehouse in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. The company works closely with long-term manufacturing partners in China and India to produce both standard stock items and bespoke, made-to-order products, while still manufacturing custom orders and performing all branding in the UK. All overseas factories meet or exceed UN and EU standards for working conditions and employment, and are equipped to deliver high quality and reliable service. Juniper offers same-day quotations and sampling, flexible stock reservation, express lead times, and a broad range of colors and designs. The company is known as a professional one-stop shop for PU and leather goods, providing both bespoke solutions and competitively priced core stock to clients across Europe.
Role Description
The Artwork Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based at Juniper Trading Limited’s headquarters in Wellingborough. The Artwork Assistant will support the creation, preparation, and adjustment of artwork files for stitched promotional items, ensuring designs meet brand guidelines and production requirements.

Typical day-to-day tasks include:

- Processing artwork requests from the sales team
- Updating layouts
- Preparing print-ready files
- Coordinating with production to ensure accurate branding on PU and leather goods
The role involves checking proofs, maintaining artwork and asset libraries, and supporting the development of new product designs and prototypes. The Artwork Assistant will also communicate with internal teams and, where necessary, external partners to resolve artwork queries and ensure timely delivery.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with graphic design and artwork preparation tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and an understanding of print and manufacturing file requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, layout, and color accuracy, with the ability to check proofs and ensure consistency across multiple products and formats.
- Organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to handle multiple artwork requests, meet tight deadlines, and maintain orderly digital asset libraries.
- Clear communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with sales, production, and external partners, including the ability to interpret client briefs.
- Basic knowledge of branding processes (e.g., embossing, printing, stitching) and an interest in PU and leather goods or promotional products.
- Relevant experience in an artwork, pre-press, or design support role; experience in manufacturing or promotional products is an advantage.
- Education or training in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field is beneficial, though equivalent practical experience will be considered.
