Role Overview

Technip Energies is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented As-Built Document Controller to support the delivery of the Net Zero Teesside Power project, a flagship UK decarbonisation initiative.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination, control, and finalisation of as-built documentation across the project lifecycle, ensuring all engineering, vendor, and construction records are complete, accurate, and compliant with client and regulatory requirements.

This role is critical in ensuring a smooth transition from project execution to handover, supporting high-quality information management in line with project milestones and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities

As-Built Documentation Management

  • Manage the collection, verification, and consolidation of all as-built documentation from engineering, construction, and vendor sources
  • Ensure all documents are updated to reflect the final installed configuration (red-line mark-ups incorporated)
  • Coordinate with discipline engineers and construction teams to validate data accuracy

Document Control & Compliance

  • Maintain document control processes in line with Technip Energies standards, project procedures, and client requirements
  • Ensure all as-built documents are correctly versioned, approved, and traceable
  • Support audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with ISO standards and project QA/QC requirements

System & Data Management

  • Upload, manage, and track documents within project EDMS (e.g., GAIA, SharePoint, TQ Systems, or similar)
  • Ensure metadata accuracy, document classification, and naming conventions are consistently applied
  • Generate reports on document status, completeness, and outstanding deliverables

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
