Are you an experienced AS400 / COBOL Developer looking for your next challenge? We're seeking a talented Software Engineering Specialist to join a global technology team working on critical financial services applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance applications on the AS400 / IBM i platform
- Design, build, and support interfaces and integrations with vendor platforms
- Work with SFTP file transfers, APIs, XML/JSON, and message-based integrations
- Perform unit testing and deliver high-quality releases with minimal defects
- Support ongoing modernization and SQL refactoring initiatives

Required Skills & Experience
✅ 8+ years of AS400 development experience
✅ Strong expertise in:
- ILE COBOL
- RPGLE / RPG IV / Free Format RPG
- CL / CLLE
- SQL on DB2
✅ Strong AS400 knowledge, including:
- DBU
- WRKQRY
- Subfiles
- Jobs and Job Descriptions
✅ Experience with:
- Web Services & APIs
- XML / JSON
- System integrations and interfaces
- Unit testing and quality delivery

Desirable Skills
⭐ Experience with Change Management tools (Turnover is advantageous)
Domain Knowledge
Experience within financial services and investment products such as:
- Equities
- Bonds
- Mutual Funds
