Workplace Compliance Manager

About Us

United Infrastructure delivers essential infrastructure services across utilities and social infrastructure, supporting some of the UK’s largest network operators and housing providers. We are looking for a Workplace Compliance Manager to lead the management of workplace compliance, facilities services and statutory obligations across our office estate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and implement a strong SHEQ culture aligned with a “Zero Harm” approach
  • Ensure full compliance with SHEQ policies, procedures, and legal requirements
  • Carry out regular site audits, inspections, and safety tours
  • Own and lead the development of the company Asbestos procedures
  • Support ISO audits and maintain SHEQ systems and documentation
  • Monitor and analyse data to identify trends and improvements
  • Support in incident investigation as subject matter expert
  • Encourage reporting of hazards, near misses, and incidents
  • Support, attend and guide site teams
  • Attend SHEQ meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

  • BOHS Qualified (minimum)
  • Experience within social housing, maintenance, or minor works projects
  • Strong knowledge of Asbestos related legislation and best practices
  • Experience with audits, reporting, and compliance systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, organised, and able to work independently
  • Good IT skills (Microsoft Office essential; SHEQ systems desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence
