About Inspectas
Inspectas has built an excellent reputation for high standards of work and strong service delivery across public and private sector clients. We are growing, and to support a large nationwide contract we are looking for experienced asbestos surveyors and analysts to join our teams based in our Leeds and Stevenage offices. Dual surveyor/analysts are very welcome.
About the Role
This is a hands-on technical role across predominantly retail, commercial and industrial properties. You will be confident assessing the condition of buildings, comfortable working alone on site, and able to build easy rapport with clients while spotting opportunities to help them further.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out asbestos surveys (management, refurbishment and demolition) in line with HSE guidance (HSG264)
- For analytical work, air monitoring and four-stage clearances in line with guidance (HSG248)
- Advising clients on asbestos management, including contractor and project oversight
- Producing accurate, high-quality survey reports and registers
- Delivering your workload on time and to specification, working safely at all times

What We Are Looking For
- Experience, at least 2 years in a UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy
- Surveying route, BOHS P402, or the RSPH Level 3 Award in Asbestos Surveying or the RSPH Level 3 equivalent
- Analytical route, BOHS P403 (air sampling and fibre counting) and P404 (four-stage clearance), or the RSPH Level 3 equivalent
- Dual candidates, holding both the surveying and analytical qualifications are especially welcome
- A plus, BOHS P405 (management of asbestos in buildings)
- A strong technical eye, accurate report writing and confident client communication
- Full clean UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel nationwide when required (desirable but not essential)
- Able to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team
- Nuclear or security clearance (desirable but not essential)
