Job Description
Job Title: Asbestos Consultant
Job Type: Permanent
Locations: Field Based Roles available in the following locations:
- West Midlands
- Shropshire
- Yorkshire
- Peterborough
- Worcestershire
Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week
Salary: from £35,000 pa DOE & Company Vehicle

Our Asbestos Consultants carry out asbestos consultancy and surveying activities at client sites across the UK. The role provides clients expert advice on asbestos risks, meeting essential requirements in legal, safety, and compliance standards.

- Conduct asbestos surveys, safely sample suspect materials, and accurately record findings in line with job instructions and internal procedures.
- Assess identified asbestos risks, advise clients on appropriate removal or safe management, and provide ongoing support to maintain compliance.
- Collaborate closely with clients and project teams, ensuring effective communication, timely reporting, and resolution of any on-site issues.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is technically knowledgeable, safety-focused, and highly detail-oriented. You'll be confident working independently, travelling to and working on client sites; assessing asbestos risks and providing practical, compliant advice with a professional approach.
Essential Qualifications / Experience
- RSPH Level 3 Certificate in Asbestos Surveying OR P402 Qualification
- Full Driving License for use in the UK
- Minimum 6 months relevant work experience in Asbestos Surveying
