We're looking for an Asbestos Analyst who will support our operations by ensuring high-quality asbestos monitoring, reporting and compliance in line with company procedures and regulations.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all asbestos-related work is carried out in accordance with company Group Procedure Document ‘Air Sampling, Fibre Counting, 4SC and Certificate for Reoccupation procedures' – GPD 4 and other associated documentation.
- To comply with the Company General Quality Procedures with support from the Quality Manager.
- To provide quality services and information to clients, must have knowledge of all current asbestos and associated regulations.
- Report to the Line Manager any occurrences during business activity that may require reporting to our insurers or legal advice.
- Attend operational team meetings and refresher training as and when required.
- Arrange meetings with the client or contractor as and when required.
- Ensure that reports are completed in accordance with timescales set and to the required standard.
- Participate in the internal and external audit programme for fibre counting, airborne fibre monitoring and 4SC as required.
- Compile recommendations and technically review reports as necessary.
- Provide technical advice as and when required.
- Attend training courses as and when required.
- Prepare health and safety risk assessments and assist in ensuring other staff under their control adhere to the assessment.
- To carry out any other duties required as part of the overall strategy to achieve the company's objectives.
- Must have demonstrable experience within the asbestos field and meet the requirements for the role as set out in company procedures.

- The BOHS P403 and BOHS P404
- The Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) Level 3 Certificate for Asbestos Air Monitoring Analysts
- The BOHS Certificate of Competence in Asbestos
- Full UK Driving Licence is required
