Asbestos Surveyor: Manchester

Location: Manchester (covering the North West)
Salary: GBP35,000 - GBP39,000 (depending on experience)
Contract: Permanent Full-time

A long-established asbestos consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to support a strong and consistent portfolio of work across Manchester and the wider North West. With the majority of projects based locally (including Manchester and Liverpool), this role offers stability, minimal travel disruption, and a well-structured working setup.

This position is ideal for a surveyor who prefers organized schedules, commercial-only work, and the autonomy of a field-based role without unnecessary office requirements.

Salary and Benefits

  • GBP35,000 - GBP39,000 salary (DOE)

The Role

  • Carrying out Management, Refurbishment and Demolition (R and D) asbestos surveys in line with HSG264
  • Surveying education and healthcare properties across the North West
  • Producing accurate, compliant asbestos survey reports
  • Managing your own workload with support from an established back-office team
  • Ensuring all work meets current legislation and HSE requirements

About You

  • BOHS P402 (essential)
  • Proven experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
  • Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and best practice
  • Confident working independently in a field-based role
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Professional, organized, and reliable
