Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Glasgow
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join their team covering Glasgow and the wider Central Belt of Scotland.
The business has a consistent commercial workload and operates with clear processes, realistic scheduling, and strong operational support. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced surveyor looking for stability, regional coverage, and long-term security within a professional and well-managed environment.

The Role
- Delivering Management and Refurbishment and Demolition (R and D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
- Working across commercial, industrial, and public sector properties
- Conducting bulk asbestos sampling where required
- Producing clear, accurate, and compliant asbestos survey reports
- Managing your own diary and workload effectively
- Travelling across Glasgow and the wider Central Belt
- Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and site representatives
- Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance

About You
- BOHS P402 qualification (or equivalent)
- Proven experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
- Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation
- Previous commercial surveying experience is desirable
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based position
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Professional, organised, and reliable
- Full UK driving licence
