Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Guildford
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading environmental services provider in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join their team covering Guildford and the surrounding South East region.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced surveyor looking for a secure, long-term position with a major organisation offering a strong basic salary and excellent earning potential through overtime. Salary and Benefits
- Basic salary: GBP 32,000 - GBP 40,000 (DOE)

The Role
- Carrying out Management and Refurbishment and Demolition (R and D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
- Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across a range of property types
- Producing clear, accurate, and compliant asbestos survey reports
- Working across a varied portfolio of commercial and public sector properties
- Managing your own diary and field-based workload effectively
- Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and site representatives
- Maintaining accurate electronic records and survey documentation
- Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance

About You
- BOHS P402 qualification (essential)
- Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
- Strong knowledge of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation
- Experience surveying a range of commercial and public sector properties
- Confident working independently in a field-based position
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Professional, organised, and reliable
- Full UK driving licence
