Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst (Dual): Manchester

Location: Field Based, Manchester

Salary: GBP36,000

Contract: Permanent Full-time

A long-established national hazardous materials consultancy is looking to recruit a dual-trained Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to support projects across Manchester and the wider North West.

This is a role for someone who takes pride in technical standards and wants to work for a business that backs its site teams properly. Quality comes first, workloads are realistic, and your professional judgement is trusted.

The Role

  • Delivering Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Surveys in line with HSG264
  • Completing asbestos-in-the-ground surveys where required
  • Undertaking air monitoring, reassurance testing, and fibre counting
  • Carrying out four-stage clearances
  • Working across commercial, industrial, and public sector sites
  • Producing accurate, compliant, and defensible reports
  • Operating in line with HSG248 and HSG264 at all times

Requirements

  • BOHS P402, P403, and P404 (or recognised equivalents)
  • Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and guidance
  • Confident working independently on site
  • Professional approach with clients and contractors
  • Full UK driving licence
