Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst

Ref: AM089

Location: Newcastle

Salary: GBP38,000 : GBP43,000 (DOE)

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established environmental consultancy delivering high-quality asbestos services across the North East. They are looking to appoint a Dual Skilled Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to support ongoing contracts in Newcastle and surrounding areas.

Duties for the role of Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst include:

  • Conduct Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition surveys in line with HSG264
  • Undertake air monitoring, 4-stage clearances, and personal monitoring
  • Work across commercial, industrial, and domestic sites
  • Produce accurate and compliant survey and analytical reports
  • Ensure all work complies with UKAS and HSE guidance
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams

  • BOHS P402, P403, and P404 qualifications
  • Proven experience in a dual role within a UKAS accredited consultancy
  • Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and compliance
  • Good IT and report writing skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Full UK driving licence
