Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: Taunton, Bridgwater and Highbridge
Salary: GBP40,000 : GBP45,000
Contract: Permanent Full-time
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 7:30am-5:00pm
An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join a leading national asbestos and environmental consultancy covering the Somerset region.
This position offers a strong combination of localised work, minimal overnight stays and a four-day working week, alongside excellent opportunities to progress into Senior Surveyor, Project Management and Auditing positions.

The Role
- Carrying out Management, Refurbishment and Demolition asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
- Undertaking asbestos sampling and reinspection surveys
- Conducting air monitoring and 4-stage clearance procedures in accordance with HSG248
- Working across domestic, commercial and industrial properties
- Producing accurate asbestos survey reports and drawings
- Transporting samples to approved UKAS-accredited laboratories
- Providing clients with specialist asbestos advice and technical support
- Liaising with clients, project managers, quality teams and operational staff
- Maintaining high technical and professional standards throughout all work
About You
- BOHS P402 or equivalent : essential
- BOHS P403 and P404 or equivalent : essential
- Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
- Strong knowledge of asbestos surveying and analytical procedures
- Experience across domestic, commercial and/or industrial properties
- Good understanding of HSG264 and HSG248
- Full UK driving licence : essential
- Professional and confident when dealing with clients
