Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst (Dual-Trained)
Location: London & Surrounding Areas (Field-Based)

Atrium Associates are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading environmental and risk management consultancy for an experienced Dual-Trained Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their growing Hazardous Materials team.

The Role
As a Dual-Trained Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, you will play a key role in helping clients manage asbestos-related risks across a diverse portfolio of commercial, public sector, industrial, and residential properties. This is a field-based position with a strong focus on the London region due to ongoing client demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct all types of asbestos surveys, including Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys.
- Undertake asbestos inspection and sampling activities.
- Carry out air monitoring and airborne fibre counting.
- Complete 4-stage clearance procedures and reoccupation assessments.
- Inspect contractor remediation works and verify compliance with industry standards.
- Accurately collect and record site data using digital reporting systems.
- Produce technically accurate documentation and reports.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, guidance, and industry best practice, including HSG248 and HSG264.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
- Provide professional advice and support to clients when required.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal teams.

About You
We are looking for a reliable and technically competent asbestos professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and maintaining excellent standards.
Essential Requirements
- BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (or equivalent RSPH qualifications).
- Strong working knowledge of asbestos surveying and analytical procedures.
- Understanding of HSG248 and HSG264 guidance.
- Experience conducting asbestos surveys, air monitoring, and clearance testing.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong communication and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
