Asbestos Surveyor: Chelmsford
Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Salary: GBP 36,000 - GBP 40,000 (depending on experience)
Contract: Permanent Full-time
A well-established asbestos consultancy is looking to recruit an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to support a strong workload across Chelmsford and the surrounding areas.
The role offers a good balance of work, with approximately 70 domestic and 30 commercial projects, providing variety without being overly pressured. The company operates with clear processes and realistic expectations, offering long-term stability within a supportive team.

The Role
- Delivering Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Surveys in line with HSG264
- Working across predominantly domestic properties with some commercial sites
- Producing accurate, compliant asbestos survey reports
- Managing your own workload effectively
- Ensuring all work meets current legislation and HSE guidance

Requirements
- BOHS P402 (or equivalent qualification)
- Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
- Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and compliance
- Comfortable working independently
- Full UK driving licence
