Due to continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Asbestos Trainer to join our team.

About the Role
As an Asbestos Trainer, you will deliver engaging and compliant UKATA-approved asbestos training courses at client premises and training venues throughout the UK. You will play a key role in helping organisations meet their legal duties by providing informative, practical, and engaging training that promotes safe working practices.
The role involves regular nationwide travel, with occasional overnight stays, and the opportunity to deliver both face-to-face and online training where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver UKATA-approved asbestos training courses, including:
- Asbestos Awareness
- Non-Licensed Asbestos Work
- Duty to Manage Asbestos
- Refresher training
- Ensure all training is delivered in accordance with UKATA requirements, current legislation, and HSE guidance.
- Create an engaging learning environment that encourages delegate participation.
- Assess delegate understanding and provide constructive feedback.
- Complete all training records and course documentation accurately.
- Maintain training equipment and course materials.
- Keep up to date with changes in asbestos legislation, guidance, and industry best practice.
- Represent Asbestos Training Limited professionally while building strong relationships with clients.

About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience working within the asbestos industry.
- A thorough understanding of asbestos legislation and safe working practices.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Confidence delivering training to groups of varying sizes.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to travel throughout the UK, including occasional overnight stays.
- A full UK driving licence.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience delivering UKATA-approved asbestos training.
- Adult teaching qualification (Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent).
- BOHS qualifications such as P402, P403, P404, or equivalent.
- Experience working in asbestos surveying, consultancy, laboratory analysis, or asbestos removal.
- Experience delivering training both in person and online.
