Our client is looking for a Lawyer on a 6 month assignment Cybersecurity Legal Counsel from September 2026.

About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of law and technology, supporting a leading global financial institution on some of the most pressing legal issues in cybersecurity today. The successful candidate will work closely with the Cybersecurity Legal team, providing advice across a broad range of matters, including:

  • Incident prevention and response
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Horizon scanning
  • Legal interpretations
  • Information security governance frameworks
  • Cybersecurity exercises and trainings

The role also offers exposure to cutting-edge legal questions arising from emerging technologies, including frontier AI, generative and agentic AI use cases, and post-quantum cryptography.

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrable experience advising on cyber or information security incident response and regulatory compliance
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity legal frameworks
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal and technical issues clearly
  • Sound legal judgment and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
