About the role
Group Corporate Services is the firm’s provider of internal services, advice and expertise across People and Resourcing, Corporate Affairs and Marketing, Risk and Legal, Finance and Commercial, Digital, and Office Services. Its work helps the firm grow, run effectively and protect its people and business.
ASK sits within the Business Support Group in UK Office Services. The UK and offshore team works in partnership to provide customer-focused administrative and project support. In this Birmingham-based role, you will respond to a varied range of requests, build trusted relationships and help colleagues use ASK services and self-service tools effectively. You may also provide agile support to other areas of the firm, giving you opportunities to expand your network, knowledge and experience.
Roles and responsibilities
- Deliver responsive administrative support, agreeing priorities and expectations with customers and keeping them updated through to completion.
- Manage requests through the ASK workflow system, maintaining accurate records and escalating complex issues when appropriate.
- Coordinate diaries, meetings and events, including virtual meeting support, rooms, catering, equipment and customer availability.
- Arrange business travel, accommodation and visa applications in line with relevant processes and policies.
- Create, amend and organise Word, PowerPoint and Excel documents, correspondence, mailboxes, digital post and key files to KPMG standards.
- Process and maintain accurate business data, including information linked to purchase orders, invoices, expenses, gifts and entertaining, and customer relationship management systems.
- Provide professional call handling, Director support and Executive Assistant cover through ASK services, adapting to changing business needs.
- Contribute to team huddles, knowledge sharing, service improvements and opportunities to use technology or automation more effectively.

- Demonstrable experience of delivering administrative or business support and managing varied requests to agreed deadlines.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Teams, with evidence of producing accurate, professional documents and communications.
- Experience of coordinating diaries, meetings, events or travel while maintaining organised records and accurate data.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships and set clear expectations.
- Evidence of collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders, responding flexibly to changing priorities and contributing to shared team outcomes.
- Experience of following policies, handling sensitive information confidentially and identifying practical improvements to processes or use of technology.
