Aspiring Drama Teacher Program - £36,500 Permanent Contract

A fantastic Secondary School in the Borough of Redbridge are on the hunt for an Aspiring Drama Teacher for a January 27 start. This is a full-time, permanent post.

Please note the salary is dependent on experience - and is on a scale.

You will be working across the Drama Department, teaching KS3-4 lessons, while having a focus on attainment & the quality of learning. This is the perfect opportunity if you're an aspiring Drama Teacher looking to gain experience before enrolling onto teacher training.

The Head Teacher would ideally like a Drama Graduate with any of the following Drama-related degrees:

  • Drama
  • Playwriting (Drama)
  • Community Theatre (Drama)
  • Performance Project (Drama)
  • Staging Gender (Drama)
  • Theatrical Production (Drama)
  • Stage Management (Drama)
  • Directing (Drama)
  • Podcasting (Drama)
  • History of Theatre (Drama)
  • Acting (Drama)
  • Theatre & Social Engineering (Drama)
  • Stage Design (Drama)
  • Theatre Design (Drama)

  • Enrolling onto the Aspiring Drama Teacher Program (Schools Direct)
  • January 27 start - Full Time & Permanent
  • £27,500 - £36,500 permanent contract
  • Located in the Borough of Redbridge

Person Specification

  • Must have a desirable degree from the above subjects from a reputable University
  • Good A Levels & GCSEs across the board
  • Must be confident within your ability and knowledge of both the GCSE & A Level curriculum
  • You must be able to engage and motivate the students
  • Commitment and ambition to succeed is key throughout!
