Aspiring Secondary Teacher | Haringey | Immediate Start
Are you a high-achieving graduate considering a future in teaching and looking for valuable school-based experience before teacher training? A successful secondary school in Haringey is seeking an Aspiring Secondary Teacher to join their team immediately on a full-time basis.
This opportunity is ideal for graduates with a Russell Group degree in Maths, Science or English who have achieved strong A-level results and are keen to develop their understanding of teaching, behaviour management and student progress. You will gain valuable classroom experience across KS3 and KS4 while developing the practical skills and confidence required for a successful future in education.
What You Will Gain

Your Responsibilities
You will support teaching and learning across KS3 and KS4, working closely with subject teachers to support students in Maths, Science and English. You will provide targeted academic support, assist with classroom activities and contribute to small-group and 1:1 interventions designed to improve attainment, engagement and confidence.

What We're Looking For
- A 2:1 degree or above from a Russell Group university, ideally in Maths, Science, English or a related subject
- Strong A-level results, particularly in relevant core subjects
- Experience working with children or young people through tutoring, mentoring, coaching or youth work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career in teaching
- A confident, academic and professional approach to working with secondary-age students
