Aspiring Teacher Program
A fantastic Secondary School in the Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham are on the hunt for Aspiring Teachers for ASAP starts. This is a full-time, and long-term role for the full academic year.
What will your role entail?
- Supervising classes across KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5 in the absence of the class teacher
- Delivering pre-planned lessons across a variety of Secondary subjects
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining high expectations throughout lessons
- Ensuring pupils remain engaged, focused, and completing the work provided
- Supporting students on a 1:1 and small-group basis where required
- Providing additional academic support and intervention for pupils who require it
- Working closely with Teachers, Heads of Department, and the wider pastoral team
- Developing strong classroom management, communication, and leadership skills
- Gaining invaluable Secondary School experience ahead of potential Teacher Training
You will have the opportunity to enroll onto a Salaried Schools Direct opportunity via the Secondary School starting in September 2027.

Job Description
Aspiring Teacher Program
- Supervising classes across KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5 in the absence of the class teacher

Long-term
ASAP Start
£120 - £145 per day
Located in the Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham
Person Specification
- Degree educated or strong academic background preferred
- Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
- Confident, enthusiastic, and personable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent behaviour management potential
- Ability to build positive relationships with Secondary-aged pupils
- Must be resilient, proactive, and comfortable taking responsibility for a classroom
- Genuine passion for education and supporting young people
