A manufacturing company based in Maldon is looking for Assembly operatives to join their growing team.
About the Role
The role is paying £12.90 per hour, working 7am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
The assembly role is responsible for assembling according to drawings and work instructions. The role involves using hand tools and power tools to perform mechanical, electrical or structural assembly tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assemble parts and subassemblies following detailed work instructions
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools i.g. drills, screwdrivers, riveters, torque wrenches
- Measure, cut, fit, and secure components to meet precise tolerances and specifications
- Maintain a clean work space
- Perform mechanical fastening, drilling, grinding, and fitting operations

Requirements
Skills and experience needed for this Assembler role:
- Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or fabrication
- Skilled in the safe use of power tools and hand tools
- Basic understanding of mechanical principles and workplace safety
- Ability to work independently or as a part of a team to meet production targets
- Be physically fit due to the demands of the job
