You’ll play a vital role in Advanced Energy’s NPI (New Product Introduction) team, assembling components/subassemblies and electronic interfaces. While completing standardized tasks, daily duties will vary—expect to work efficiently without blueprints for guidance.
Duties include:
- Adhering to production schedules and performance benchmarks.
- Assembling electronic components, subassemblies, and chassis.
Responsibilities
- Follows Instructional sheets, schematics, equipment manuals, and verbal guidance to assemble/modify/rework units.
- Handles semi-routine tasks while identifying nonconformities as needed.
- Communicates professionally and upholds all safety protocols.
- Adheres to ISO practices and maintains documentation.
- Performs fixture calibration, preventive/corrective maintenance, and DIY repairs.
- May train new AE employees on established processes.
- Contributes to quality impact decisions, cutting through-put & cost.
- Travel may be required.

Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
- Operates with limited supervision.
- Assists in training other AE employees in best practices.
- Demonstrates problem-solving (corrective actions) and quality focus.
- Cross-trained on diverse product platforms.
- Proposed improvements to lead times, throughput, and cost.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Word/Outlook), Zeus knowledge.
- Fundamental grasp of SAP (ECO and DMR) procedures.
- 1+ year electro-mechanical assembly experience (or equal).
